Lit Riderz will be riding in the San Diego Electric Light Parade
Join us on Sunday, March 30th, for an exhilarating evening ride through San Diego’s iconic Balboa Park! Here’s what you need to know:
Event Details: 1549 El Prado, San Diego, CA 92101
• Meet-Up Location: Bea Evenson Fountain, in front of the Natural History Museum.
• Gathering Time: 5:00 PM
• Ride Start: 6:00 PM
Route Highlights:
• An exciting path with planned dance party stops.
• Please note: The route includes some hill inclines.
Parking Information:
• Free Parking: Available in the lots behind the Fleet Science Center.
• Address: 1875 El Prado, San Diego, CA 92101.
• Directions: Access the parking lot via Space Theater Way, just off Park Blvd. 
Explore Balboa Park:
Arrive early to take advantage of the park’s numerous free amenities:
• Gardens: Stroll through the Inez Grant Parker Memorial Rose Garden and the Desert Garden, both offering vibrant displays. 
• Museums: Visit the Timken Museum of Art, which offers free admission and houses a remarkable collection of artworks. 
• Trails: Explore the park’s extensive network of walking trails, perfect for a leisurely pre-ride walk.
Additional Amenities:
• Restrooms: Public restrooms are conveniently located throughout the park, including near the San Diego Automotive Museum, Spreckels Organ Pavilion, and Casa del Prado. 
• Visitor Center: Located adjacent to the Plaza de Panama inside the House of Hospitality, the center offers information and assistance to visitors. 
Note: While the park offers many free attractions, some museums and exhibits may require an admission fee.
