History of Witches Bike Rides
Witches bike rides have become a popular Halloween tradition in many communities, where participants, often dressed as witches, take to the streets on their bicycles for a fun and spooky ride. The idea behind these rides is to celebrate the Halloween spirit while enjoying a communal activity that promotes both fitness and fun.
The tradition likely began as a playful way for adults to participate in Halloween festivities, combining the classic image of a witch riding a broomstick with a modern twist—riding a bike instead. These rides have grown in popularity across various cities and towns, often serving as charity events, community gatherings, or simply a chance to celebrate the season with a little extra whimsy. Riders usually don witch hats, capes, and other spooky accessories, making for a festive and visually striking parade.
